Kyra is a Registered Physiotherapist here at Momentous Athletics. Kyra’s journey to her career in rehabilitation was spent close to home at Queen’s University. In 2021 she completed her bachelor of science in kinesiology undergraduate degree, followed by her physiotherapy masters in 2024. Here, she spent 3 years in an internship training varsity athletes as well as several hours in exercise science research. Growing up just north of Belleville, Kyra considers herself a local that strives to make her community both feel and function better in their daily lives. Her aim is to provide quality one-on-one assessments and individualized treatment plans to those of varying ages and activity levels, with emphasis on specificity to patient goals.

Chelsea is a Registered Massage Therapist who also has a background in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. Chels then went on to obtain her personal training certification through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. Chelsea takes her passion for the body, movement, and exercise, and tries to create a well rounded plan for an optimal rehabilitation process. She focuses on educating her clients, so they have a better understanding of what their body is telling them, and how a combination of hands-on therapy and a consistent exercise program can help them overcome their limitations, and create a positive impact on their lifestyle.
Additionally, Chelsea found a passion in teaching future massage therapists at Loyalist College, completed her Fascial Stretch Therapy Certification, and is currently in the process of her completing her 100HR Pilates Teacher Training Course.

Leah is a Certified Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association as well as a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Since graduating from Sheridan’s AT program, she went on to get her Massage Therapy diploma from the Ontario College of Health and Technology, as well as her certification in Neuromuscular Acupuncture from McMaster University. As an Athletic Therapist and Massage Therapist, Leah strives to treat her clients with an active approach. She believes in providing her clients with the tools and knowledge to help take control of new or recurring issues and to prevent injury.
Leah has also been working full-time in the OJHL for the past 8 years. She is currently the AT for the Trenton Golden Hawks where she attends all games and practices, and treats all players.
